Military plane of US ARMY crash kills at least 16 in Mississippi

US military plane has fallen in the southern part of Mississippi, killing 16 people, US media reported on Monday.

US Marine Corps confirmed that KC-130 involving "emergency" occurred in the evening, without giving further details.Clarion-Ledger and CNN said Leflore County emergency management director Fred Randle confirmed the deaths of 16 people.The 16 dead were on the Marine Corps plane and no one else was missing, Randle said on the CNN tv.The incident occurred at about 4pm (2100 GMT), Clarion-Ledger said, stating that a firefighter was trying to counteract the fire on the plane and to pour out a foam to extinguish the fire.The plane fell on the soybean field on the Sunflower-Leflore county line.Photos posted on his site show a great black smoke filled with animal veterinary field.
